HOW TO USE

Massage a finger nail size amount of your Cleansing Melt into dry skin for a deep cleanse, and to dissolve and remove even waterproof makeup in an instant, without leaving your skin feeling tight. Then run the enclosed organic muslin cloth under warm water and use to remove the balm and gently exfoliate. For an extra treat, press the cloth against your face for a minute to allow the steam to activate the oils further.

After cleansing generously mist your Facial Mist all over your skin, taking a moment to appreciate the fresh English garden scent.

Then, whilst your skin is still damp from the Mist, apply a few drops of your Beauty Oil to your hand and rub together in your fingers. Take 3 deep breaths with your palms covering your face and then push, press or massage the facial oil into your skin.

    It is known that physical touch increases levels of dopamine and serotonin, and the same effects are noted when the touch is from our own hands.
    Even reducing those stress levels for a few minutes a day can positively impact the immune system too.

    Therefore giving yourself a gentle facial massage when applying your cleansing balm and facial oil is an amazing skincare and self-care tool that shouldn't be underestimated.

    It is simple and quick to perform but highly relaxing and beneficial to the skin. The massage will release facial tension, which can build up through stress, thus improving puffiness and fine lines, and reducing tension headaches. It also increases blood circulation, therefore giving the skin a healthy youthful glow and strengthens and tones the muscles.

  • KEY INGREDIENTS & BENEFITS

    Apricot Kernel Oil* (Prunus armeniaca): This wonderful lightweight oil is easily absorbed into the skin, and is very similar to our skin's own natural sebum, making it ideal for sensitive and dry skins. Rich in essential fatty acids, apricot kernel oil is high in vitamin A, as well as Vitamin C and E.

    Borage Oil* (Borago officinalis):Borage is a wildflower, commonly known as the Starflower. This oil is extremely high in GLA, an essential fatty acid, which aids in restoring moisture and smoothness to dry and damaged skin and also provides relief to those suffering with skin irritations such as eczema and psoriasis.

    Calendula* (Calendula officinalis): This oil is found in the marigold flower, and is created through the maceration process described above. This holds powerful anti-inflammatory and wound healing properties, excellent for general skin repair. The carotenoids that give the flowers their bright orange and yellow colours, are also antioxidants. This oil is very gentle on sensitive skins and often used in baby products.

    Evening Primrose Oil* (Oenothera Biennis): Rich in fatty acids and GLA (gamma linolenic acid), this oil accelerates wound healing by repairing and maintaining skin tissue. It has also been found to help combat changes in the skin due to ageing such as redness, firmness and dryness.

    Geranium Leaf Oil* (Pelargonium graveolens): This essential oil has an astringent property which aids in tightening the skin and reducing the look of wrinkles. It also encourages new cell growth and healing of the skin too, helping with the appearance of scars.

    Lavender Oil* (Lavandula angustifolia): One of the most versatile essential oils, lavender oil is wonderfully powerful at stimulating the healing process of the skin and promoting healthy cell growth. It is anti-inflammatory, balancing, calming and relaxing to the mind too.

    Rose Hip Oil* (Rosa moschata): This oil is has significant anti-ageing benefits for your skin, due to the high levels of antioxidants and Vitamin A and C. It is good for regenerating and healing, hydrating and smoothing the skin too. A real powerhouse oil.
